Refunds and cancellation policy

01 Advance payments

To begin work on any project, we require a partial advance payment.

• Nature of the Advance: The advance payment serves as a commitment fee to secure our time and resources for your project.
• Non-Refundable Clause: Advance payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.

02 Cancellations

2.1 Client-initiated cancellations

• If you wish to cancel the project, you must notify us in writing via email at hello@rivant.in or through other agreed communication channels.
• Refund eligibility depends on the progress of the project at the time of cancellation:
  • Before Work Begins: Full refund of the advance payment.
  • After Work Begins: The advance payment will not be refunded.

2.2 Rivant Media-initiated cancellations

• If we are unable to proceed with the project due to unforeseen circumstances on our end, we will refund the unused portion of your advance payment based on the work completed to date.

03 Refund eligibility

Refunds are assessed based on:

• The scope of work completed at the time of cancellation.
• Any approved deliverables provided to the client.

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 business days from the date of approval.

04 Disputes

In the event of a dispute regarding cancellations or refunds, we encourage both parties to communicate and resolve the issue amicably. If necessary, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Maharashtra, India.

05 Amendments

We reserve the right to modify this Refunds and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website, and the "Effective Date" will be updated accordingly.
