BlueMuse Records
A studio project, 2024
An identity for a record label we made up, drawn by hand: bubble lettering, a marbled record with a face in it, three single covers, a hoodie, gig tickets and a street poster.
BlueMuse is not a client. We made the label up to design it end to end.
The idea
We started with brush lettering, then tried the name curving round a record and scrapped it. The final letters are fatter and rounder, with a purple offset, modern and Y2K at once. A marbled pattern we called Pulse became the mark: a record with a face in its swirl.
